This is a one session class: Sunday, October 27th, 3-5pm

Prerequisite: This is a beginning level class, no experience necessary.

Intro to Tapestry Weaving: Weaving is an ancient art that is easy to learn yet has endless possibilities. Unleash your creativity while playing with color and texture! We will use a simple frame loom to make an artistic wall hanging while exploring plain weave as well as rya fringe, soumak, and clasped weft weaving techniques.

Materials Kit: $40 for Black Sheep Goods Pop Out Loom, scissors, darning needle, yarn.

• Optional: bring small amounts of yarns you’d like to incorporate into your piece.
